Teacher & Instructional Leader

Spent over ten years teaching in Santa Ana Unified School District, designing and teaching Advanced Placement courses including AP U.S. History, AP Macroeconomics, AP Modern World History, and AP European History. In addition to classroom instruction, I served in several leadership roles including GATE Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, Academic Pentathlon Coordinator, Chess Club Advisor, National History Day Coordinator, Mentor Teacher, and Department Chair, supporting curriculum development, academic programs, and instructional leadership across the school community.

Teaching Guide

I designed a practical, experience-driven field guide that helps educators apply strategies in real-world classroom environments. The guide focuses on human-centered interaction, clear visual design, and immediate usability in fast-paced settings.

Using Canva, I focused on visual storytelling, clean layout, and an inviting tone to make the content approachable and engaging. I designed the guide to feel like something teachers would want to use and revisit, not just read once.

Every design choice supports readability and engagement. This project reflects my passion for creating learning experiences that are human-centered, visually compelling, and immediately applicable. Click the button below to access the free eBook.
